The purposes of this study were to establish a database related to worker's health, to establish a Decision Support System for worker's health, to develop a program that automatically calculates essential health indices using this system targeted
to a
company located in Inchon. The target company of this study was a medium-sized company located in Inchon city with a self-operating medical facility with a total of 6 persons including a residing regular medical doctor (a family physician) and a
nurse
and a clinical pathologist. The software was developed using COBOL by a professional programmer. By establishing an information system an input of stored data of general medical examination data, special medical examination data, medical service
office
utilization data, and personnel data (department, entrance date of the company, socio-demographic characteristics) produced an output of a summary table of persons who failed to take medical examination, a summarty table of persons who need
detailed
medical examination, diseased person post-management opinion report, and other statistical indices.
